Detail: Cash Mobs are the perfect way to shop local, have fun, and meet new people in our community all at the same time. Each Cash Mob event focuses on supporting local business in downtown Marietta. Once participants show up at the initial meeting location, clues will be provided to learn the surprise location(s) of the evening’s Cash Mob event! No participant walks away empty-handed, whether it’s a refreshment, discount, sticker, or goody bag giveaway. All Cash Mob participants are asked to spend a minimum of $10 in each location.

Detail: The RTA Fest is a celebration of our gorgeous natural assets and the community we get to call home. Rivers, Trails and Ales Festival is designed to include activities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels. It opens up viewpoints on the wealth of activities available locally, and brings people to the area to support our local establishments. Detail: Sandra Walker is hosting a fund-raising event to purchase transport vehicles for High on Hope Ministries. Dinner will be provided during the 2 hour boat ride.

Detail: FREE showing of Coco at City Park with FREE concessions including popcorn and bottled water. Kids activities and music provided before the show starts, with prizes to win after. Bring your own chair and blanket and set-up around 8pm, movie starts when it’s dark enough for the screen to display. This event will go on rain or shine. We hope to set up at the bandshell area, but in the case of inclement weather we will set up under the horseshoe pit.

Detail: Lace up your sneakers and join us every Saturday for Walk with a Doc.This is a free provider-led walk that will begins with a 3-5 minute educational conversation. The walk starts on our Wayne Street Medical Campus (pediatric building, 310 East 8th Street in Marietta) will follow the Marietta River Trail for one hour, but participants do not need to walk for the full hour, and may walk at their own pace and distance. Detail:Join a truck driving professional with many years of experience as you look under the hood of a semi, see how they hook up to a trailer, and most importantly ride along. Yes you read that correctly. This class offers the opportunity for each participant to ride in the cab of a semi. Start your adventure with a pretrip truck inspection. Then head out on the road for a one hour trip and overview of truck driving as a profession from the cab, No previous experience necessary. Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This year, Broughton Foods has teamed up with Strecker Cancer Center to support the Strecker Patient Emergency Fund.
