Come experience The Live Nativity Scene like you have never before. Sweetapple Farm will be holding its annual Live Nativity Scene December 22-23. The Live Nativity Scene is not a new event to the Mid-Ohio Valley; it has been a tradition for quite some time. Local church groups and individuals enjoy performing the Nativity Scene. During the performance there will be traditional hymns sung and Bible scripture readings. This event will be held for two days. You will not want to miss this.
The farm will be open 5:30-8:00 p.m. both nights. Each night the first performance will begin at 6:20 p.m., then the second performance will begin at 7:20 p.m. There will be a short intermission between the performances.
The Live Nativity will be held in the Cattle Barn. The farm animals will greet the Christ child during the performance. Once the performance is over you are welcome to greet the performers and animals, then go to the market where you can buy hot chocolate, caramel lattes, coffee and more. There also will be whole-hog sausage, grass-fed beef, and maple syrup for sale. Then take a stroll on the farm to see lots of lights.
Bring out the whole family or join up with friends. This event is family-friendly fun. Come out and experience Christmas on the farm and see the greatest gift this world could ever be given: Jesus Christ.
